Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Changeloop. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. About the service
Changeloop connects to your GitHub repositories through a GitHub App. When a pull request merges, it drafts a customer-facing changelog entry for you to review, edit and publish to a public feed and an embeddable widget.
2. What Changeloop does and does not provide
Changeloop drafts changelog entries with AI, but nothing publishes without your approval. The service does not review your code for correctness or security, and it is not a substitute for your own release process. You are responsible for checking each draft before it goes out.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for the GitHub access you grant and for the accuracy of published entries. Changeloop does not guarantee that a draft will be accurate without review.
4. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Changeloop is not liable for inaccurate drafts, missed releases, or decisions made based on published changelog entries. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Account and acceptable use
An account is required to use the platform. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the GitHub App permissions you grant. Using the platform for unlawful purposes is prohibited.
6. Pricing and payments
Changeloop offers a free plan with limits described on the pricing page, and a paid Team plan billed monthly. Plan details and any changes will be communicated clearly before they take effect.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, source code, design, and the Changeloop brand are protected by law. Changelog entries generated from your repositories belong to you and may be published and reused freely.
8. Personal data protection (GDPR)
Changeloop processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable law. Details about the data collected, purposes, legal basis, and your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page, along with the date of the last change.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be settled by the competent courts of England and Wales.
